How do I know which tests I need?
That’s exactly what your consultation is for. You’ll meet one-on-one with Dr. Reid or Dr. Bailey, who will review your medical history, lifestyle, goals, and budget to create a personalized testing package. The consultation is $199 and includes a full pre-visit risk assessment completed online.
Please note: Our physicians do not offer one-off tests like Gut Biome or Coronary Calcium Score. Instead, they design curated testing packages to provide meaningful, long-term health insights.
What if something serious is found?
If a concerning result appears, Invest-Med’s doctors become your advocates. Whether through the public or private system, they coordinate referrals and follow-up care—so you’re never navigating it alone. You’re also free to involve your family doctor, or keep everything managed discreetly through our team.
Do I have to complete all the tests recommended to me?
No. You only pay for and complete the tests you choose. You’re welcome to add or defer tests based on your needs.
Can I have specific body parts scanned rather than a full body MRI?
Invest-Med focuses exclusively on full-body MRI as part of a comprehensive, preventative health approach. Our physicians do not order one-off scans or isolated tests. Instead, we design fully customized screening packages—including MRI and advanced diagnostics—to give you a complete picture of your health.
Is my family doctor involved?
If you choose. We can coordinate with your physician or manage your care entirely within Invest-Med. It’s completely up to you.
Is testing covered under my health insurance plan and is it private?
Preventative testing is not covered by insurance plans. All tests are private and outside of the public healthcare system. Healthcare Spending Accounts can be used to expense tests, and the tests can be a personal or corporate tax deduction.
